Women in Finance Charter

Hope Capital signed the Women in Finance charter in November 2018 and is proud to have renewed its commitment each year since. We’re committed to providing a high level of transparency and accountability across our business.

We’re proud to be signatories of the Charter and we see this as a way to align with like-minded businesses and make a positive impact on our industry, helping to develop stronger relationships.

We need to celebrate women’s achievements and create positive visibility of women. This issue has gone on for far too long; we all have a role to play in making change.

WHAT IS THE CHARTER:

  • Commits firms to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector by focusing on the executive pipeline and the mid tier level;
  • Recognises the diversity of the sector and that firms will have different starting points – each firm should therefore set its own targets and implement the right strategy for their organisation;
  • Requires firms to publicly report on progress to deliver against these internal targets to support the transparency and accountability needed to drive change.

WHAT THE CHARTER REQUIRES:

  • One member of our senior executive team responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion;
  • Internal targets set for gender diversity in our senior management;
  • Publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website;
  • An intention to ensure the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity.
