Fast tracking deals to beat the stamp duty deadline for our borrowers!

We recently supported an experienced borrower with a fast-paced residential purchase to help ensure we could beat the stamp duty deadline. The deal demonstrated how our strong partnerships with brokers and third parties along with our streamlined processes can deliver results – even when working to tight deadlines and navigating planning challenges. 

The borrower approached us seeking a facility structured around self-funded works to the purchase of a property . With planning considerations in play, flexibility was essential. We were able to move quickly and efficiently, utilising our fast-track product which included an underwriting team dedicated to these deals, utilisation of full title insurance​, no upfront legal undertaking, electronic KYC & AML verification ​and instant valuations which in this case came at no cost to the borrower.  

Due to this efficient fast track system, the whole process from initial contact to completion, was smooth and well-coordinated highlighting our ability to deliver when speed matters most.

The facility was tailored to suit the borrower’s strategy – enabling them to purchase the property within the required deadline without incurring any financial penalties.  Despite challenges relating to planning, the flexibility shown by all involved meant the borrower could move forward without disruption, capitalising on our offering provided at 75% LTV at 0.92%.
